Baby Dinosaurs Family Donations
Baby Dinosaurs is extremely dedicated to helping families and a huge part of our ethos, is we want to help local families who need a little extra support. So we give our stall holders and the public the opportunity to give us any child related unsold or surplus items they no longer need.
We then create gender/ age appropriate bundles to give to those families, who need it. We except anything from maternity to teenager.
Baby Dinosaurs works extremely close to local councils, women’s refugees, children’s charities, health care professionals and head teachers to ensure that all your donations go to a good home. Baby Dinosaurs provides this service on a voluntary basis.
If you would like your children’s treasures items to go back into your community and help others. Please contact Baby Dinosaurs to arrange drop of or collection.

“I’m very much a happy person, the items I’ve received will be very much loved and used by my 3 month old, it was lovely gesture to pass them on to us, daughter loves the elephant puzzle, she’s partial sighted so the colours are great for her to see, I would so recommend just because the items are fantastic & in great condition thank you from the bottom of my heart. Xxx”
“I cannot thank Lisa and her team enough for the help and support they provided to us just recently.”

“Baby bundle kindly donated by Baby Dinosaurs. Very much appreciated by a local family. You’re making a difference to the lives of others, keep up the excellent work. THANK YOU.”
“I am a volunteer at the Central Family & Youth Hub and I am also the secretary of the Family & Youth peoples action group.
Sadly, Central Locality has many families on low income and even living in poverty.
Lisa of Baby Dinosaurs contacted me, to see if we could benefit from their input back in July. Lisa was already making a huge difference with her ‘pop up markets’ giving families an alternative to car boot sales with a more civilised way to declutter and the opportunity to buy quality kids clothes at a fraction of store prices.
Over the last few months myself & the Family Engagement Officer have worked closely with Lisa & have received donations of clothing, moses baskets, baby baths, toys and even a sofa for a very grateful family. We also pass things on to one of our partners ‘Green Gables’ who help young pregnant mums & families to find accommodation, so Baby Dinosaurs helps them greatly also.
In conclusion I have to say that Baby Dinosaurs is an excellent partner to work with and Lisas energy and enthusiasm rubs off a little each time she makes a delivery to us giving me that extra will to make a difference too.”

Changing little lives Crèche is a service within Changing Lives Doncaster women’s centre and community hub. Parents accessing our services are entitled to a free childcare place, many of the parents would not be able to attend services without this support, Changing little lives Crèche currently support around 50 children from 15 countries.
Due to the nature of the centre our children require a high level of support, they are living within families experiencing poor mental health, addiction, crime, immigration, poverty and many other complex needs.
Christmas is a particularly challenging time for most of our families, so we are over the moon to be supported by Baby Dinosaurs this year. It is hard to put into words what a difference your contributions make. I am overwhelmed already by the support we have received. Together this Christmas we are changing Lives.
“Phase CIC provide support and accommodation to young people who leave local authority care to live independently. The young people are one of the most vulnerable groups in the community as they do not have parents to support and guide them through life’s trials. They often have significant back stories to why they were taken into care, they are five times more likely to have been excluded from school and overall have a higher risk of homelessness, teenage pregnancy, and unemployment. We are grateful to have forged a partnership with Baby Dinosaurs, who donate valuable baby clothes and equipment to our young people. The Toy appeal will make a significant difference to our young people who have babies and toddlers themselves to make this a special Christmas.”
North East Lincolnshire Council is working closely with Baby Dinosaurs Quality Kids Markets to provide new and nearly new quality items for children and families pre-birth to 10 years old in our local community. These donations are given to out to our families, who need a little extra support. We have family hubs which bring together family support services including Surestart children’s centres, health visiting, school nursing, integrated family services and some youth provision. Baby Dinosaurs works along side all of these professionals to give child related donations. These workers work across community localities and work with other partners and the community, to offer services for children and young people aged 0-19 and their families.
NELC have reserved quality essesionals and we took part in the Christmas Toy Appeal 2018 which involves our practitioners identifying families they are working with who are facing multiple problems and are in need of presents for under the Christmas Tree.
NELC have lots of families who need extra support and guidance, Baby Dinosaurs Quality Kids Markets donate items to our families in need.
